The sailor anchor surrounded by a magical rune circle and Celtic knot was made of 925 sterling silver and stands for support and strength, because in the sea it can be very stormy, similar to the sea. In seafaring, the anchor is used to firmly bind a seaworthy vehicle to its position. The heavy weight and the two prongs ensure that when the anchor is lowered, it is anchored in the sea floor.
Runes are an ancient writing system used by nordic germanics. Unlike other writing systems, runes were mostly used for religious and not everyday purposes. Nowadays you can find thousands of of ancient rune stones all over scandinavia and Germany.
