The god Horus was one of the main gods of ancient Egypt and closely associated with the kingdom. Originally, however, he was a god of heaven and in the image of the Egyptians, Horus' left eye was the moon, his right eye was the sun, with his two eyes he illuminated the sky both at night and during the day. His spotted plumage was the stars and his wings spanned the sky. The flapping wings sparked the wind.
