The silver-plated mammoth ax has magical runes and Celtic knots. The pendant was made of 925 sterling silver and combines strength and protection from enemies, gives courage, inner strength and willpower. The Celtic ax leaf is a replica of a historical find in Danish Mammen and was decorated in the typical Nordic style.
Runes are an ancient writing system used by nordic germanics. Unlike other writing systems, runes were mostly used for religious and not everyday purposes. Nowadays you can find thousands of of ancient rune stones all over scandinavia and Germany.
