Saint Christophorus, also Christophoros, is venerated as a martyr and saint in the Roman Catholic and Old Catholic Churches, the Orthodox Churches and parts of the Anglican community. Christophorus is also mentioned in the Evangelical Calendar of Names. He is one of the fourteen emergency helpers and is now particularly known as the patron saint of travelers.
