The word Pharaoh goes back to the Egyptian word "Peraa" (big house), in its origin, this word was not yet put in relation to the kingship, that came up only about 1479 BC.
In ancient Egyptian texts, you can also find other names for the Pharaoh, as well as, for example, "the perfect (good) God" or "Lord of both countries".
