The Celtic shield with horses and Celtic knots is made of high quality bronze. Celtic knots, which were not only used by the Celts, but generally in the Middle Ages very often as symbols or in craftsmanship. The first records of the Celtic knot can be found in history, around 450 AD. Unfortunately it is no longer known what the knots should mean.
