The triskele, or triple spiral, is a Celtic symbol. It connects everything 3 times, z. For example: past, present and future - birth, life and death. It symbolizes the cycle of life. All three "branches" are positioned as if a forward movement is being carried out. It gives the wearer protection against negative forces.
The sun is the star centered in the middle of our solar system, but for many it means more. In cultures around the earth, mesopotamians and aztecs alike, it was celebrated and in some cases worshipped as a symbol of fertility and growth.
